Mains voltage halogen downlight. This light is made of a cast aluminium alloy design with a matt satin nickel finish (i.e. very similar finish to stainless steel).
The light offers areal value for money, as not only are you getting the mains powered halogen lighter but the price also includes the cost of a 2,000 hour Osram GU10 bulb.
The light is simply installed. All your electrician has to do is cut a 70mm hole in the plasterboard, provide a lighting circuit electrical supply to the hole, and insert the downlight into the hole. It is held in place using side mounted retaining springs that stop the downlight moving once it has been inserted into the cutout hole.
To change the halogen downlight bulb you simply remove the retaining clip and replace the bulb with a standard GU10 halogen bulb.
